Direct Patient Care

DIRECT PATIENT CARE (DPC)

At Innovate Allergy, we have chosen a Direct Patient care (DPC) model because we believe patients should come first, not insurance companies. DPC bypasses insurance billing in favor of up front pricing. This offers substantial benefits, including no unexpected charges, direct and timely access to providers, and a stronger emphasis on prevention rather than purely reactive treatments.

Let’s further unpack the advantages of DPC and explain how they impact both the quality of your healthcare experience and the provider-patient relationship:

  • Enhanced Access and Availability: At Innovate Allergy, we are able to offer same-day or next-day appointments and as well as direct communication channels (phone, text, email) with our providers. This level of access gives you the care you need when you need it and prevents unnecessary trips to urgent care or the emergency room.
  • Transparent Pricing: With all of our pricing available up front, patients are spared the confusion of the insurance system (copays, deductibles, bills that come months later, restrictive provider networks, etc.) and the distress of unexpected medical costs.
  • Focus on Prevention: Because we handle fewer patients, we have the time to prioritize prevention, nutritional planning, and early intervention rather than just treating illnesses as they occur.
  • Reduced Administrative Burdens: As healthcare providers, avoiding insurance billing frees up significant time and resources allowing us to focus entirely on patient care rather than burdensome insurance regulations, paperwork, coding, and claims.

Whether you are exploring Low-Dose Allergen therapy, need traditional allergy testing, or are looking for help with ongoing sinus, respiratory, skin, or food sensitivity concerns, Innovate Allergy gives you a smarter and more innovative path forward.

Because we do not bill insurance, we are able to focus on the patient, the conversation, and the care plan. This allows Dr. Peet to spend more time understanding your symptoms and helping determine the best next step for your needs.
